Two-component silicone rubbers (semi-liquid to liquid pastes) vulcanize to form a flexible silicone rubber within a few hours after mixing with the catalyst at normal temperatures. The specific properties of the silicone rubber allow its wide use as molds for casting other materials, as well as castings or final protective layers of different thickness (encapsulation).
